Running from 1 September 2021 until 31 August 2024, PREVENT PCP aims to augment security in public transport through innovative procurement of technology solutions. It will endow Public Transport Operators with solutions enhancing security situational awareness through:
i) timely automatic detection of potentially dangerous unattended items;
ii) identification and tracking of perpetrators and;
iii) an advanced crisis management system.
